Doctors must educate people on health problems: VP Venkaiah Naidu

Hyderabad, November 6: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated a medical camp at Swarna Bharat Trust in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada. Addressing the occasion he said that doctors must educate people to understand problems of the modern era.

“Doctors must educate people on problems caused modern, sedentary lifestyles,” Naidu said. Vice President said changing life styles was one of the root causes of increasing health problems and advised the people to practise yoga and exercise regularly to battle disease.

The Vice President also stressed on the need to improve health infrastructure in rural and backward areas. He added that government, the private sector, and voluntary organizations must come together to create better health infrastructure.

“Government, the private sector, and voluntary organizations must join hands to create health infrastructure, mainly in rural & backward areas,” he said.

Venkaiah Naidu reached Andhra Pradesh on Sunday morning where he was received by AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Vice President was in Telangana on Saturday.
