India Foundation Director Shaurya Doval rejects ‘The Wire’ piece

New Delhi, Nov 6: Terming ‘The Wire’ piece as a baseless rhetoric against the India Foundation, Director Shaurya Doval has Refuted all the allegations leveled by ‘The Wire’. In an official statement, Doval clarified that charges of conflict of interest between the Foundation and its Directors which includes a group of central Ministers have no substance.

Shaurya Doval, son of NSA Ajit Doval underlined that the directors of Delhi based think tank have been associated with the India Foundation long before they became Ministers or even Members of Parliament. He further noted that his organization does not avail any financial aid from any overseas private corporation or individual.


Elaborating on the activities helmed by India Foundation Doval stated that directors have nothing to do with any commercial activity as reported by the media outlet ‘The Wire’.


On November 4 senior journalist Swati Chaturvedi had penned the piece for ‘The Wire’ about the alleged conflict of interest between India Foundation and its Directors. India Foundation is an independent think tank focussed on the issues, challenges, and opportunities of the Indian polity.
