PM Narendra Modi to dedicate Hyderabad Metro Rail on Nov 28: KT Rama Rao

Hyderabad, Nov 7: Confirming the much-anticipated development regarding the prestigious Hyderabad Metro Rail project, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao announced that on November 28 Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the ambitious venture of the Telangana government.



The Minister further mentioned that Prime Minister Modi will be in the state capital to attend that Global Entrepreneurship Summit so he is expected to attend the inaugural ceremony of Hyderabad Metro Rail.

Helmed by the Indian Multinational Larsen & Toubro, the Hyderabad Metro Rail will be the world's biggest Public Private Partnership based project constructed with the whopping budget of Rs 14,132 crore. The three corridors of the metro will cover a distance of 72 km.



The first phase will cover a distance of 13 km, from Miyapur and Ameerpet and route between Ameerpet and Nagole will be of 17-km. According to media reports, the inaugural ceremony will take place at Miyapur Metro depot and the Modi may take a ride from Miyapur to Ameerpet.
