Shah kick-starts Gujarat Gaurav Maha Sampark Abhiyan from Naranpura

Ahmadabad, Nov 7: Gearing up for the mother of all electoral battles, BJP Chief Amit Shah today kicked off the most anticipated Gujarat Gaurav Maha Sampark Abhiyan, a mass outreach drive from Naranpura. Considered to be a BJP stronghold Shah began the mega election campaign for the prestigious Gujarat polls.

According to state BJP officials, Gujarat Gaurav Maha Sampark Abhiyan will be targeting 50,000-odd polling booths across the state. The two-phase polling will take place on December 9 and 14 and results will out on December 18.

 
 

Shah, who represented Naranpura assembly segment in 2012 Gujarat Polls today visited his home constituency and presented a letter penned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 
 

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Smriti Irani, Prakash Javadekar, JP Nadda, VK Singh, Thavarchand Gehlot, and state Ministers would visit Gujarat during the campaign.

Besides Shah, Chief Minister Rupani will kick off the campaign from Rajkot, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel from Mahesana, state BJP president Jitu Vaghani from Bhavnagar, former Chief Minister Anandiben Patel from Ghatlodia, BJP Gujarat-in-charge Bhupendra Yadav from Ahmedabad.
