Kolkata, November 8: Dengue, a five letter word is creating chaotic confusion in Bengal due to administrative irresponsibility. Conspiracy regarding increasing Dengue cases in Bengal has reached an extreme level. While Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee trying to put blame on pathology labs, the administration is trying to suppress the original statistics of Dengue cases, meanwhile, local media has reported 11 more dengue-related deaths in between 24 hours of Monday night to Tuesday night. Moreover, the state has not submitted the report of dengue-related deaths even to Union health ministry making the situation more complex.

As it has been reported, in the districts of South Bengal 11 patients have died. Among the victims, six are from North 24 Pargana, one from South 24 Pargana, two from capital Kolkata and two from East Midnapore.

More shockingly, following the ongoing dangerous trend in the death certificates of patients, the reason of death as dengue has not been mentioned. In one of the death certificates again it has been mentioned as “unknown fever”. From writing Febrile Illness Bleeding Disorder to shock syndrome, the distortion of fact again took place.

Expect west Bengal all other states have sent a report of Dengue-related cases till 5th November to Union Health Ministry. Based on the reports center takes initiatives, sends an inspection team to the states but in case of Bengal, it is not happening totally. Till now only 19 cases have been reported from the state. In some districts, the disease has already taken the form of an epidemic.
