Madurai, Nov 8: Refuting all the possibilities of an alliance with the Narendra Modi led NDA government, DMK working President MK Stalin clarified that his party will keep protesting against anti-people policies adopted by BJP government.
Addressing the ‘black day rally on the first anniversary of demonetization, the DMK leader urged people not to draw any extreme political conclusion from the recent Modi Karunanidhi meeting. Commenting on the various media reports Stalin stated that even he was not aware of the visit of Prime Minister Modi.
On November 6, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid surprise visit at the residence of DMK chief M Karunanidhi and inquired about his health. Stalin noted that visit of Prime Minister Modi with the senior Dravidian leader was nothing but a courtesy call.
