‘War room’ constituted to monitor for achieving Pothole free Maharashtra

Mumbai, November 8: The filling of potholes on the roads of Maharashtra, State Highways and major district roads in Maharashtra is in full swing. Public Works Minister Chandrakant Patil expressed confidence that the road will be completed by December 15. For this, a war room has been prepared in the Ministry's office and through which the work of the state is constantly monitored.

 

Annual maintenance repairs will be done for the release of potholes across the state. Under this work, every 10 km road works will be given to the contractor for 2 years. During this period, the responsibility of this road will be of the contractors.

“Real time information for pitch filling will now be available” says the Minsiter.

Information about the work done in the state will be updated in the district wise and division wise War Room. Therefore, the review of potholes will be taken on a daily basis. Along with this photographs will be uploaded after the work of patchwork is done.

 

So, this information will be made available online after the situation of the potholes and the potholes and after the filling.

At this time, the work was supervised by video conferencing in Nashik and Aurangabad. It was also discussed in the meeting of the work on the roads, state highways and major district roads in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur.
