Chandrababu Naidu meets UK business delegation, appreciates investment plan

Amaravati, Nov 8: A United Kingdom-based business delegates met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Secretariat here on November 7 and expressed willingness to team up with the state government on various developmental fronts.

The group of professionals under the leadership of Baroness Varma of Leicester was ready to collaborate with the Andhra Pradesh government on different platforms like solar technology, education, capacity building and tourism.



 

Applauding the initiative, the Chief Minister thanked foreign delegation for extending crucial support for the welfare of the state. He further assured that he would take the final call after reviewing the proposals pitched by members.

 
 

According to state officials, Dr. Geoffrey Clements, Chairman of Commonwealth Infrastructure Partners, informed about the plans regarding the investments in the solar technology along with the skill enhancement and training programmes.

The director of NeoXcraft Fareena Sajjad has proposed plans for the efficient transport system. Whereas Chairman of the Kavi Holding AG, Amar Kavi, would extend technical aid for a secure ID system with sensors, biometrics, and GPS with a company called Fejlette.
