Maharashtra enthusiastically attract global tourists at ‘World Travel Market- 2017’ with its diverse colors

London, November 9: ‘World Travel Market – 2017’ the mega tourism event kicked off attracting global tourists, which was organised at London. Many states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Odisha participated enthusiastically thereby attracting foreign tourists at WTA London – 2017. 

Maharashtra Tourism Department Corporation ( MTDC) participated in World Travel Market – 2017 to promote tourism in Maharashtra and to show the diversity of Maharashtra at global level . Maharashtra Tourism Minister Jaykumar Rawal inaugurated Maharashtra pavilion at WTA- 2017. 

 

MTDC by participating in such events spreads awareness about Forest tourism , Heritage tourism , Castles tourism , Heli tourism , Medical tourism , City tours , Wine tourism , Mining tourism , Cruz tourism and Welness tourism . Maharashtra is emerging as productive state in world tourism. MTDC , I C E and some Hospitality Colleges came together for same purpose .

This three day programme of WTA London- 2017 provided an opportunity to connect the Tourism Minister with 51000 tourism experts, buyers, digital factors under one roof.

The Tourism Minister said that Maharashtra is very rich tourist site. Participation in WTA London- 2017 has provided a golden opportunity for marketing of tourist places, culture and also an opportunity for investors in the state.

Tourism is a rapidly progressing sector in state. It brings a large number of foreign currencies in the country.

Kerala was another state which had strong presence in participating in the WTA- 2017. While renowned sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik too tweeted about the Odisha Tourism promoting ‘Sustainabl’ Tourism.
