Security forces eliminated 3 hardcore terrorists, one apprehended in Baramulla district

Srinagar, December 11: Security forces on Sunday late night eliminated three terrorists after a fierce encounter that broke out at Hinshu in Bomai area of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Heavy arms and ammunition along with the body of slain terrorists are recovered from the encounter spot.

 

Notably, at least three were killed during the fierce encounter with the security forces that took place at Hinshu in Bomai area of Baramulla district Jammu and Kashmir. The body of slain terrorists has been recovered from the encounter site. Although the gunfight has been stopped, the search operations are still underway.

Meanwhile, another terrorist has been arrested in an injured state from the site. Unfortunately, the gunfight between security forces and terrorists also left a civilian dead. Internet services have been suspended in four districts including Sopore, Baramulla, Handwara and Kupwara.

The encounter took place after the security forces including Indian army and Jammu and Kashmir police launched a search operation at Hinshu in Bomai area of Baramulla district. Confirming the killing of three terrorists the state's Director General of Police, SP Vaid took to Twitter saying, "In Unisoo, Handwara all the three terrorists apparently Pakistanis have been neutralized by Joint team of J&K Police, RR & CRPF. It has been raining whole night and boys were out there in the cold."


Earlier, in this month, security forces eliminated three terrorists and arrested one belonged to Lashkar-e-toiba (LeT) terror outfit in Qazigund area of Kulgam district. Security forces have led a massive war against terrorism and terrorists in the inner parts of Jammu-Kashmir and forward areas. Therefore, Anti-Terrorism operation is continued with such a speed that 200 terrorists are eliminated by Indian troops in a time period of only 11 months.
