Google X will enhance digital connectivity in Andhra Pradesh: Minister Nara Lokesh

San Francisco, December 15: In order to establish the high-speed internet network in the state of Andhra Pradesh, state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has roped in international giant Google X. As per the proposed plan, the technology presenter would provide assistance with X’s FSOC links to bring about 12 million households under digital connectivity.

Nara Lokesh, who is currently on US visit took to twitter and shared the details about the much-anticipated pact between Andhra Pradesh state government and Google X where port city Visakhapatnam has been selected for the Google X its Development Centre.

Expressing happiness over the move, Lokesh asserted that sharing of technology would reinforce the relentless efforts building digital infrastructure by the state government. The Minister further mentioned that the agreement between Andhra Pradesh State Fibernet Limited and X would pave the ways for efficient fibre grid connectivity in the coastal state.
