New Delhi, December 15: Reassuring full support for the ambitus national irrigation project of Polavaram, Union Minister for Water Resources Nitin Gadkari asserted that Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi would ensure the successful rollout of Polavaram.

Speaking to the media after the marathon meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, Gadkari mentioned that both state and central governments are gearing up for the deadline of 2018. According to media reports, Naidu who is personally monitoring the development of the national project which is considered to be the lifeline of Andhra was reportedly unhappy over the misleading reports of Polavaram.
