Mumbai, December 20: Recalling the memories of Padmavati shooting, handsome hunk Shahid Kapoor who is easing the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama has described "Padmavati" as the memorable film of his career.

Speaking to the media at the Zee Cine Awards, Shahid shared information about the much anticipated grand release of Padmavati. The ace actor expressed that presenters of Deepika Padukone starrer would take the final call after the official certification of the flick.

Responding to the various media reports, the 36-years old actor opined that by the end of this year, moviegoers will get updated schedule of Padmavati. As reported by leading entertainment portal, Shahid said, "I am sure we will have clarity by the end of this year about when the film is releasing.

As per media reports, CBFC officials are meticulously observing the content of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’ dream project. The apex film body will address the issues raised by various social organizations regarding the alleged violation of historic tale of Rani Padmini.

As quoted by Times now, after due certification, makers are pitching for two dates in next month most probably January 5 or January 12. Earlier, the film was supposed to hit the screen on December 1 but anticipating the law and order situation in the backdrop of massive protest, Viacom18 Motion Pictures, who are bankrolling the epic drama deferred its worldwide release.
