London, December 20: Prime Minister Theresa May and US President Donald Trump agreed on the importance of a swift post-Brexit bilateral trade deal. This discussion took place through a phone call between the two dignitaries.

In a wide-ranging call, the two leaders updated each other on the progress of their respective domestic affairs and discussed the situation in the Middle East following Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as the new Israeli capital.

They also discussed on declaring Jerusalem as the Israeli capital and also agreed on the importance of the US bringing forward new proposals for peace and the international community supporting these efforts.

UK Govt has seen many upUps and Downs in the matter of European Union after voting to leave the Union by 2019. This has disturbed the whole scenario as the European Union (EU) leaders have warned Theresa May not to back-step or else it will lead to suspension of future deals. May was negotiating during the EU talks and assured the betterment of Britains relations with EU. So in this concern ‘Good relationship’ with USA will be a supporting ladder for Britain.

Britain is set to leave the bloc on March 29, 2019, but the negotiations must be wrapped up in less than a year to leave parliaments time to ratify the agreement.

Recently Britain officially declared that it is the world’s sixth strongest economy. Since many years Britain was in the top five economies of the world but France beat Britain which put the country on the sixth position. The slide reflects a sharp deceleration in Britain's economic growth since it voted to leave the European Union in June 2016. The pound has weakened dramatically, consumer spending has slowed and prices have spiked.
