New Delhi, December 21: Congress party continues to waste Crores of Rupees of Indian taxpayers by making chaos and disruptions in Rajya Sabha and forces adjournment of proceedings in house. Therefore, as soon as Congress members on Thursday started making chaos and disruptions Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu condemned their behaviour and asked them to maintain the dignity of the Upper House.

Notably, Congress while protesting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remark against former PM Manmohan Singh went into the well of Rajya Sabha and raised slogans. Chairman Venkaiah Naidu condemned their behaviour and asked them to maintain the dignity of the Upper House.

Venkaiah Naidu during Zero Hour when the Congress members rushed near the Chairman's podium protesting PM Modi’s allegations against former PM Manmohan Singh said, “Follow ‘maryada' (dignity), follow the rules, I condemn your behavior, I have to, Don't force me to do that, You go to your seats, go back."

However, the Congress also raised the issue of acquittal of all accused in the 2G spectrum allocation case, saying the court judgment vindicated UPA's stand that there was no scam in the allocation of spectrum and licences to telecom companies.

Interestingly, this is not the first time when Rajya Sabha was forced to adjourn. Earlier, on the first day, Congress members forced the adjournment of proceedings in the Rajya Sabha by raising slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's and protesting on his remarks at an election rally in Gujarat against former PM Manmohan Singh.

Congress senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the Congress Party has given a notice under rule 267 that seeks of setting aside of the listed business to take up discussion on the serious matter. He said the Prime Minister must come to the house and give proof of what he said or he must apologize not only to the house but to the whole nation.
