New Delhi, December 21: Shocking judgement by Justice Saini shattered the let-downed Subramanian Swamy’s efforts. Efforts he took to fight against 2G Scam, efforts to catch the collars of the accused, efforts to put off the curtains from the whole scenario. This led him to speak by holding a press conference at 3.30 pm.

“I was the first to file a case against 2G scam in 2012; the judgement given by Judge Saini is very bad.” He said in the conference. “Govt must prove its bonafides by filing an immediate appeal in High Court" he added.

"Today, the judgment states that the CBI and the ED counsels were totally lackadaisical. They were not serious and he couldn't figure out what they were trying to prove. This is a very big condemnation of the government conducting of the case," he said.

“Prime Minister should take a lesson from this and set up a war-like council fighting corruption, there are still many loyal officers in the system which can be appointed to fight against this corruption” were the words of Swamy during the conference.

Today in a shocking judgement the special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court acquitted former Telecom Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader A. Raja in a case on alleged irregularities in the 2008 allocation of 2G telecom spectrum and licences—a scandal that contributed to the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance’s electoral downfall in 2014. Other 16 accused including DMK leader Kanimozhi and three companies were also acquitted in the case.

The 2G spectrum loss is an alleged scam colluded by politicians and government officials under the Indian National Congress (Congress) coalition government. The Union Government of that time is accused that it undercharged mobile telephone companies for frequency allocation licenses, which they used to create 2G spectrum subscriptions for cell phones.
