Indian Army takes revenge of four soldiers martyred in JK; eliminates Pakistani sniper in Nowshera sector
Srinagar, December 25: India, Indians ask for a revenge of four army men who were martyred on Saturday after shameless Pakistani Rangers resorted to ceasefire violation at the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Keri sector of Rajouri district. After the Army bid farewell to martyrs immediately came into action and eliminated a Pakistan Army sniper at the Nowshera sector when he was about to take a position to shoot at Indian security forces.
Notably, Indian Army on Sunday evening eliminated a Pakistan Army sniper in retaliatory firing at the Nowshera sector when he was about to take a position to shoot at security forces. Earlier, on Saturday unfortunately, four army men including a major and three soldiers were martyred and another was injured after Pakistani Rangers opened fire on an Indian Army patrol along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keri sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
An army spokesperson said, "Major Moharkar Prafulla Ambadas, Lance Naik Gurmail Singh and Sepoy Pargat Singh were grievously injured during the ceasefire violation and succumbed to injuries while two other personnel also sustained injuries and are under medical treatment."
He further informed that the incident started when Pakistani troops targeted the Army patrol at Brat Galla in Keri sector at around 12:15 pm in which the three soldiers were injured grievously. “Two other personnel also sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment,” the army spokesperson added.
The Army also clarified that the bodies of its personnel martyred in firing by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir were not mutilated and the injury marks were due to splinters and gunshots.
The Army on Sunday bid farewell to four martyred soldiers. Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, Speaker of Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta and some other ministers of the state also attended the ceremony and paid tributes to the martyrs.
