Bengaluru, December 25: After the successful rollout of web series ‘Social’ the handsome hunk Rana Daggubati is ready with yet another mind-blowing concept. According to industry talks, the Baahubali actor will be presenting a web series based on the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

According to Times of India, veteran Kannada Filmmaker AMR Ramesh who will be helming this project is gearing up for the multilingual web series where for the first time Rana Daggubati will be sharing the screen with his uncle and ace actor Venkatesh Daggubati popularly known as Victory Venkatesh.Known for his flicks like Cyanide and Attahasa, the Kannada filmmaker AMR Ramesh, is also reportedly planning to launch films based on the story of IPS officer D Roopa and journalist Gauri Lankesh.

Rana, who is busy with the filming of his latest outings 1945 and Haathi Mere Saathi will be seen in the pivotal role. While the pre-production work is in full swing, the master storyteller will kick-off the project from next year.

The new age streaming platform will touch upon different incidences from the heart-breaking assassination of former PM Rajiv Gandhi. On the other hand, it will also narrate the rise and fall of V Prabhakaran and his outfit LTTE who was the mastermind behind the killing of senior Congress leader Rajiv Gandhi.
