Srinagar, December 26: After the Army bid farewell to martyrs immediately came into action and gunned down three Pakistani soldiers and took the revenge. Notably, Indian security forces on Monday gunned down three Pakistani soldiers in retaliation for an earlier ceasefire violation from Pakistani side after crossing Line of Control (LoC) to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Indian forces crossed the LoC and entered in Rakhchikri area of Poonch of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and fired heavily upon the Pakistani army posts and killed three troopers of the neighbouring country. This was in retaliation to the ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the LoC on Saturday.

Earlier, on Sunday Indian Army eliminated a Pakistan Army sniper at the Nowshera sector when he was about to take a position to shoot at Indian security forces. However, on Saturday, four army men including a major and three soldiers were martyred and another was injured after Pakistani Rangers opened fire on an Indian Army patrol along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keri sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the official sources, security forces opened fire in Rakhchikri area of Poonch yesterday evening after they noticed a suspicious movement. “Security forces pushed back suspected infiltrators, while killed three Pakistani soldiers and injured another,” sources added.

Indian Army once again crossing LoC brings back the memory of 2016's surgical strikes, which the army conducted in response to Uri Attack and destroyed 5 to 6 Pakistani posts and eliminated 45 to 50 terrorists including troopers.
