Chandigarh, December 27: There are some coward people, the organization who live in India, eat in India but act against India. If India has such friends then why a country needs foes like Pakistani extremists, Pakistani terrorist organizations etc. Notably, an ISI-backed pro-Khalistan magazine featuring slain coward terrorist Burhan Wani of the Hizbul Mujahideen terror outfit on its cover was on sale at the 'Jor Mela' in Fatehgarh Sahib.

The pro-Khalistan magazine called ‘Vangaar’ (Challenge) featured slain terrorist Burhan Wani of the Hizbul Mujahideen on its cover page.

The pro-Khalistan magazine ran a cover story in its August 2016 issue on Wani describing him as the "Hero of Freedom of Kashmir". The issue came out a month after he was killed in an encounter with the security forces in July 2016, and was being sold 18 months later at the ‘Jor Mela’ for Rs 30.

Apart from two articles on Wani, the 42-page magazine also carried a special message on “azadi” from Jagtar Singh Hawara who is convicted in the Beant Singh assassination cases and currently lodged in Tihar jail. He also wrote an article on drug use in Punjab, an article on ISIS. While the two articles on Wani have been written by Gajinder Singh of Dal Khalsa, who is believed to be in Pakistan, and the pro-Khalistani writer Baljeet Singh Khalsa.

Meanwhile, during a visit to Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, when confronted by media over the sale of the controversial magazine, said, “If there is any anti-national activity, police will look into it.”

The Jor Mela that began on December 25 and ends on December 27, is held every year to commemorate the martyrdom of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh, the young sons of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh.
