Suspected Chinese National Spy held in Manipur by Assam Rifles Jawans

Imphal, December 27: Suspected Chinese National Spy was arrested by Assam Rifles Jawans near Moreh along the Myanmar border in Manipur’s Tengnoupal district. 

The person has been identified as Qin Min Xiv Xiang (55) who hails from Fuzian province of China, various Chinese, Vietnamese and Myanmarese documents, foreign currencies, a pen drive and a compass were found in his possession.

Inputs on the movement of a suspected Chinese agent attempting to infiltrate into India from Myanmar near T Minao village, a quick reaction team from Assam Rifles was dispatched leading to the arrest of the Chinese national they added.
