Police nabs youth for abusing Parvathy on Social media

Ernakulam, December 29: Taking a serious note of online abuses against actress Parvathy, police administration on Wednesday booked a 23-year-old youth for threatening award-winning actress. According to media reports published in The News Minute, taking a Cue from accused Instagram profile where he had posted comments on Parvathy cyber traced the location and was picked up from his home.
Under the Section 67 of the IT Act which has the provision of Punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form, Police will file a suitable charge against the alleged fan. Earlier, actress Parvathy had lodged a complaint after getting death threats for her comments on Mammootty starrer 'Kasaba'. Parvathy, known for her blunt remarks took a legal recourse against the alleged online hate campaign on various social media platforms.
