How else it could be described if a man touches his sixth double century from zero in a span of 17 months only. To understand the greatness of double century, that even in a test match, no one needs to be cricket expert. Now, cricket lovers, ex-players, Virat’s colleagues, everyone is hailing the king of a new era in Indian Cricket.

Kohli, who is largely called junior Tendulkar, is now acquiring the same position of Tendulkar and another legend Shewag. Both of them have the record of six double tons in test cricket. Tendulkar had six double centuries, Sehwag had recorded four double and two triple hundreds.

The youngster has made a long list of records with this sixth double century. Along with marking himself the first captain to score six double tons in Test cricket, he has also become the first player to score six double centuries in just a span of 17 months.
