Mumbai, December 6: The soul that enlightened the world, strived for welfare of society brought revolution and ignited million hearts was none other than iconic Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The man who served society responsibly was carrying many titles being the architect of ‘The Constitution of India’, ‘First Law Minister’, ‘Indian jurist’, ‘Social Reformer’ and many more.
Today nation recalled the immortal Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on 62nd death anniversary. President Ram Nath Kovind along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas.
Paying homage PM Modi expressed on twitter saying that "Felt extremely blessed when I prayed at Chaitya Bhoomi in Mumbai. Sharing some pictures from that visit."
To commemorate the memory of the reformer and his contributions, Mahaparinirvan Diwas is dedicated on 6th December.
