NASA’s tweet on Full Moon adds up to the Guru Purnima’s celebrations

Washington, July 9: While India is celebrating Guru Purnima with all its faith and devotion, Look there is someone else also who added the cherry on the cake on this auspicious festival. None other than NASA tweeted about the full moon- giving different names to the Moon like Hay Moon, Mead Moon, Ripe Corn Moon, Buck Moon, Thunder Moon.

Looking at this, it is proud and cordial feeling that even NASA highlighted the importance of Guru Purnima. Also, Indians lauded NASA’s for acknowledging Guru Purnima. Thunder Moon got its name due to the frequent thunderstorms that happen in July, while Algonquin speakers termed it the Buck Moon referring to the period when the antlers on deer’s start to grow.
