FIFA U-17 World Cup: CM Devendra Fadnavis unveils the Host City Logo for Navi Mumbai

Navi Mumbai, Sept 11: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today unveiled the Host City Logo for Navi Mumbai for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017. On this occasion sports enthusiast, Aaditya Thackeray who is president of Mumbai Football District Association along with DY Patil Sports Academy President Vijay Patel also attended the function.

 

 
Speaking at the grand ceremony Tournament Director Javier Ceppi thanked Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis for extending all support for the mega tournament. “It’s great that Navi Mumbai has also launched its image for the World Cup,” said Ceppi. He further underlined that people from all the States will actively participate and will witness the humongous sporting milieu at DY Patil Stadium. Earlier, the Winner’s Trophy was displayed at the Gateway of India for football lovers and fans.
