Siliguri, September 12: The unrest in Darjeeling due to Gorkhaland demand has reached three months keeping the residents in an endless misery. When Binay Tamang decided to stop the indefinite strike for a period, a ray of hope came but unfortunately from the next day again ruckus started there. Hence to look for another solution, another all party meeting has been convened in Siliguri on Tuesday. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached there early morning.

The rift in Gorkha Janmukti Morcha leadership has created more chaos in the hill area. One group of the leadership wants to put an end to this drama by discussing whereas the alley of GJM chief Bimal Gurung was against discussion. Later changing the stand, 3 MLAs from latter group wanted to go in a discussion with CM which has been happily welcomed by her. The Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) and other hill parties will also participate in today's meeting.

Mamata Banerjee specially mentioned that everyone would be welcomed as GJM’s participation would be helpful in long run. In addition to that, due to GJM’S Gurung alley, the unrest is still tormenting the hill. To stop such agitation, to end the strike, GJM help is very much needed for administration and now restoring peace in Darjeeling is the biggest challenge for Bengal government.
