Four schools of Chandigarh ranked among the top 10 in India

Chandigarh, September 12: Chandigarh is one of the beautiful cities and is now emerging as an education hub too. Four schools of Chandigarh have been ranked amongst the top 10 in India in various categories in the latest Education World India School Rankings 2017. Notably, Education World India School Rankings 2017 is an annual nationwide survey of the top 1000 schools across India.

 

In the Girls Day Schools category, Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh was ranked No. 2, an improvement in last year when it was ranked at No.4. However, The Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh was ranked No. 8 this year, the same position as that of last year.

While, in the Boys Day Schools category, St. John’s High School, Chandigarh was ranked No. 2 this year, an improvement from last year when it was ranked No 3. On the other side, in the Residential Schools category, Kimberley- The International School, Panchkula was ranked at No. 8 position this year.

Interestingly, the survey was done by Education World in association with C fore in which a sample respondents database of 12,367 educationists, principals, teachers, parents and students in 27 cities and education hubs across India were interviewed to rate the country’s Top 1,000 schools. The country’s top-ranked schools will be felicitated in Gurgaon on September 22-23.
