Telugu Desam party kick-starts poll campaign, Naidu seeks vote for development

Srikakulam, Sept 12:  

Setting the tone for 2019 state assembly elections, Telugu Desam party National President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that the yellow army will target all 175 seats on the basis of development work carried out in last three years.

 

Kick-staring the 50-day 'Intintiki Telugu Desam' a state wide mass outreach campaign from Srikakulam district the Chief Minister asserted that his party has worked relentlessly for the fulfillment of poll promises in last assembly election. He also urged fellow citizen to extend their support for mission 2019. “We have to win all the 175 assembly seats, why should you look towards other parties?” Naidu mentioned.

Calling TDP a party of poor, and downtrodden Chandra Babu stated that the state government is empowering every citizen of Andhra Pradesh with all kinds of benefits despite various financial issues after the state bifurcation. Citing the example from recently held survey analyzing the performance of TDP government Naidu asserted that 60 per cent of people in the state were happy with his government's performance and he will thrive to improve the ratings up to 80 and 90 per cent.

Launching a frontal attack on YSR Congress the Chief minister asked people to reject political parties for stalling the development project in the state. After his address, the AP Chief Minister also had one to one interaction with some villagers where he enquired about the flagship programs and delivery mechanism for welfare schemes.


On this occasion TDP state Chief K Kala Venkat Rao, Transport Minister K Atchannaidu, MP K Rammohan Naidu, legislators and others party office bearers were present.
