2-day Goa conference on citizen centric governance to embark on September 14

Panaji September 13: With an aim to create a citizen friendly administration, Goa government has organized the Regional conference on September 14-15, 2017 on good Governance and replication of best practices. 

The main theme of this conference is to make a common platform for sharing experiences in the formulation and implementation of citizen centric governance, improved public service delivery through e-Governance, transparent, accountable and citizen-friendly effective administration.

The inauguration will be done by Goa CM Manohar Parrikar and Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh will be present on September 15 at the valedictory session. Delegates from Southern, Central, Eastern, North Eastern Regions and 5 other States/UTs will be participating in the conference.

The conference will be held in six sessions which consist priority programmes of the Modi govt like Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Din Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, Promoting Digital Payments and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
