PM Narendra Modi calls on Bapu, condoles death of son Pravin

Gandhinagar, Sept 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called on his beloved Bapu aka Keshubhai Patel, veteran BJP leader and former Chief Minister of Gujarat at his residence. In a special gesture, Modi visited Keshubhai’s residence to condole the death of his son Pravin Patel who lost his life in the US due to cardiac arrest at the age of 60.

Sharing pictures of his visit Modi twitted, “Met Shri Keshubhai Patel at his residence and offered my condolences on the unfortunate demise of his son, Pravin Patel.”


According to media reports, BJP Supremo Amit Shah also had paid a visit to the Bapu’s residence to pay respects to Pravin. As reported by The Indian Express, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani who hails from Rajkot, a Patidar Stronghold also conveyed his Condolences to Keshubhai. Recalling the old memory with Keshubhai’s son Rupani stated, “Pravin and I had studied together in Rajkot he was of my age”.
