Performance is the only key for selection : Ravi Shastri

 

Mumbai, Sept 14: Team India head coach Ravi Shastri who is gearing up for the forthcoming ODI series with Australia clearly indicated that Performance is the only key for selection. As reported by India TV the former cricketing legend underscored that performance at any cost is the only criteria for any player to be on board. Shastri also clarified that door is not closed on Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina if they perform well. The head coach also asserted that he does not interfere with team selection.

The reaction comes after the announcement of the team for much awaited India- Australia ODI series starting from September 17, where all-rounders like Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina were not selected for the tour.
