Baahubali director SS Rajamouli to assist Andhra Pradesh government for designing Amaravati

Amaravati, Sept 15: After witnessing the gigantic silver screen sets of Mahishmathi and Kunthala Rajyam in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali series, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has requested the legendary director to share his inputs with the British firm Norman Foster to finalize the design of new state capital Amaravati, a pet project of Chandrababu Naidu.

The Baahubali director will join the team of Norman Foster in London where he will share his ideas with architects of London based firm. The Chief Minister will take the final call on the designs, during his official visit to Britain and the United Arab Emirates which is scheduled on October 25.

According to state government officials, The Chief Minister has asked Norman Foster, team to take inputs from well-known Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli on various aspects in order to improve the aesthetic value of state capital.

Rajamouli, who hails from Kovvur in Rajamundry gave his nod for the unique task assigned by Chandrababu Naidu. Earlier the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister chaired the review meeting with the officials of Capital Region Development Authority.
