Hokkaido, September 15: Just after few days of getting slapped with new sanctions from United Nations Security Council (UNSC) North Korea has started its activity of missile launching. On Thursday it warned to sink “Japan” and following the warning fired an intermediate-range missile over Hokkaido island of Japan.

As per South Korean military’s statement, the missile traveled 3,700km before landing in the sea and reached an altitude of about 770km (478 miles). The same kind of threat came to Japan just two weeks ago.

"Missile launch! Missile launch! A missile appears to have been launched from North Korea. Take cover in a building or underground" – this terrifying loudspeaker message woke up Japanese people in early hours of the day. The local residents of Hokkaido are extremely shocked after this missile launch as it flew over just their town. Though Japan is an earthquake prone country, the residents are habituated to take emergency cover but in case of a scary missile launch, they felt totally helpless.

Japan PM Shinzo Abe who is now in India told his country could "never tolerate" such "dangerous provocative action that threatens world peace". "If North Korea continues to walk down this path, it has no bright future. We must make North Korea understand this," he added.US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson also condemned the launch.

In the earlier part of the week, UNSC in an emergency meeting put sanctions on it restricting oil import, textile export, banning the import of all natural gases. But North Korea clearly said it would reject the sanction and proved it true.
