2008 Ahmedabad serial blast Main accused Tausif Khan arrested in Bihar
Gaya, September 15: Tausif Khan, the main accused of 2008 Ahmedabad serial blast along with two other suspects have been arrested in Gaya on Friday.
After the arrest of Tausif Khan, FIR has been registered against him and interrogation was on. Patna Additional Director General of Police S K Singhal said that Tausif was arrested from a cyber café where he was posting controversial posts on social media. Gujarat Police have been informed in this regard. The anti terrorist squad of the state are interrogating the terrorists he added. Meanwhile, Gaya SSP Garima Mallick said various other agencies are interrogating these terrorists.
After 2008 blast Atik (Tausif Khan) was working as a teacher in a Gaya’s private school which comes under Dhobhi police station’s Karmooni village. He was teaching Science, Mathematics, and English for many years. While investigating police didn’t found any weapon, but they got a book which was printed in Pakistan on which Jihad was written. Police also found a pen drive which is being investigated.
The Ahmedabad serial blast of 26th July 2008, killed 56 people and more than 200 people were injured.
