I developed Hyderabad to international level, now it’s time for Amravati: Chandrababu Naidu

Amravati, Sept 23: Reiterating his commitment towards the building a new state capital for the state of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that he will take all possible steps for developing Amravati as an iconic city. Speaking to the media Babu recalled his past exercise when he was the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh. “I developed Hyderabad to international level, now it’s time for Amravati.”

Briefing about the recent developments in the field of irrigation Naidu mentioned that water for irrigation and drinking is the topmost priority of his government. He further assured that government will take effective measures to mitigate the present drought-like conditions. Commenting on the issue of sanitation the Chief minister expressed that state government is gearing up for the 'Swachh Andhra' initiative where a large number of toilets are being constructed at war footage.

Expressing happiness over the outcome of a recently held survey about the performance of TDP the party Supremo underlined that people are satisfied with the functioning of TDP government. Elaborating on the future plans for upcoming assembly elections Naidu said, “we want to take our party to every household”. Informing about the TDP’s mass outreach intaki campaign, the national party president said that within a short span of 11 days the yellow army has interacted with almost 20 lakh people.
