New Delhi, September 24: After second Surgical Strike on Pakistan with tremendous speech, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was praised by Prime Minister Modi along with several collogues of his cabinet.

Prime Minister Modi took to Twitter to congratulate External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on her UNGA address in New York. "Incredible speech by EAM @SushmaSwaraj at the @UN! She has made India extremely proud at the world stage," PM Modi tweeted. 

“She was insightful in identifying global challenges and strongly put forward India's commitment to create a better planet,” the PM added.

EAM Sushma while speaking at the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) slammed Pakistan with 'Look who's talking' jibe. She added that Pak was responsible for creating terror outfits such as Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jamaat-ud-Dawa & Hizbul. Sushma said, "India Pakistan got independence together. While India set out on a path of development, Pakistan did what? While we're fighting poverty, our neighbour Pakistan is fighting us."

Sushma Swaraj in her address, asked Pakistani leaders to self-examine as to why India is today a global IT superpower while Pakistan has turned an export factory for terror. "While India made institutes like IIT, IIM & AIIMS; Pakistan created terror groups like LeT, JeM, Hizbul Mujahideen & Haqqani Network," Swaraj said. She described terrorism as existentialist danger to humankind.

Highlight India's traditional principles of the need to struggle for global peace and happiness, she read out lines from the Sanskrit mantra - Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah. Swaraj wrapped up her address to the UN General Assembly saying - May all be happy; May all be healthy; May all see what is good; May all be free from suffering.

The EAM spoke about several global challenges like terrorism, climate change, maritime security, unemployment, gender empowerment, nuclear proliferation and cyber security.Home Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for her speech at the UN General Assembly. The Home Minister in a tweet said, Mrs Swaraj has exposed Pakistan's duplicity on terrorism. Mr Singh said, her measured responses in spite of provocations speak volumes of her maturity and tenacity.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley too congratulated Swaraj for speech. Jaitley tweeted, “Congratulations to EAM Smt. SushmaSwaraj ji for brilliantly espousing India’s case at the United Nations General Assembly.”

Law and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj reiterated India’s commitment for global peace and exposed global threats due to Pakistan fueled terror.

Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu said, Ms Swaraj gave an assertive, impactful and insightful speech in UNGA and aptly put across global challenges and India's stand.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said, Ms Swaraj gave an excellent, powerful and insightful speech at UNGA . He said, Ms Swaraj well articulated India’s stand on global issues.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col Rajyavardhan Rathore said, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj gave a fantastic speech detailing India's position at United Nations General Assembly. He said, Ms Swaraj elucidated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for economic empowerment.
