Security forces killed one more Pakistani infiltrator in Kashmir’s Baramulla district

Srinagar, September 24: Indian security forces eliminated one more Pakistani terrorist in the Uri sector of Baramulla district along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir and foiled the major infiltration bid on Monday. The combing operation is still on and forces believe that more terrorists are trapped.

 

Earlier on Sunday, the army killed three infiltrators in the same area of Uri sector. However, it was the continuation of yesterday’s combat operation as forces got the concrete information of four Pakistani intruders trying to sneak in the Indian side. After noticing the suspect movement Indian army challenged infiltrator which resulted in the exchange of fires and troops easily eliminated one Pakistani terrorist successfully.


The Director-General of Police of Jammu & Kashmir Shesh Paul Vaid informed the elimination of one Pakistani terrorist on twitter. He said, “The 4th terrorists has also been neutralized. Jai Hind.” Earlier he also tweeted saying, “Another Pakistani terrorist located in Uri. The area has been cordoned and the encounter is on.”


Earlier today, Jammu and Kashmir police arrested 1 more terrorist who was responsible for the September 20 attack on Sashastra Seema Bal camp in Ramban district’s Banihal belt in Kashmir with a Chinese pistol and ammunition. On the 22nd September, the Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested two terrorists were identified as Gazanfar Iqbal Khan and Mohammed Arif.

The encounter comes a little over a year after an attack in Uri in which 19 Indian soldiers had died. The anti-Terrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir is continued with such a speed that at least 140 terrorists are eliminated by Indian troops in a time period of only 8 months.
