Aanand, Sept 27: Launching a frontal attack on Congress party, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the state unit of Congress is deprived of credible leaders to face the challenge of upcoming Gujarat assembly polls. Taking a jibe on the state visit of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Rupani sarcastically stated that the principal opposition party does not have solid issues to Challenge BJP ruled state government, hence banking on Rahul Gandhi.

Questioning the stand of Congress party for stalling Sardar Sarovar Dam the Chief Minister said that Congress party is responsible for the delay in Narmada project which led to wastage of millions of cusec of the Narmada water. The Chief Minister underlined that “mismanagement” of UPA government had paved the way for the humiliating defeat in 2014 general election.
