Soon Govt will be starting home delivery of diesel and petrol

New Delhi, September 28: Soon the government will be starting home delivery of diesel and petrol; also all petroleum products will be made available on e-commerce platforms, said Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan while addressing India Mobile Congress event. 

Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted saying that all petroleum products will be made available on e-commerce platforms. Also, consumers can place their order online.

 

“We have already got permission to do that. When I presented the idea, a lot of people were sceptical, and now it is becoming a reality,” Pradhan said.

But Bengaluru is already following this idea as this innovation of home delivering diesel has already been taken up by the Bengaluru startup, MyPetrolPump. The startup delivers diesel at selected areas of the city to the residents who order or pre-book refuelling at any time.
