Dubai, January 1: Happy New Year! World cheeringly welcomed New Year 2018 with good wishes while Dubai did it in a unique style. The tallest tower Burj Khalifa was totally immersed in the colourful light show with colourful shining lights. Around 1.5 million people turned up near Burj Khalifa in Dubai to watch the New Year's Eve show.
The tallest tower brought the smile to everyone’s faces. The display was unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. The 828-metre tower was used as a canvas to display symbols of the UAE, such as Arabic calligraphy, the UAE flag, and even a giant falcon in flight.
The show, which lasted around seven minutes, there was music, there was colour, there was even an accompanying performance from the Dubai Fountain. All of these elements combined to establish a new Guinness World Record for the largest laser, light and sound show on a single structure.
