Way to go Indian Army! Inspiring and training the youth through skill development

Jammu, January 10: India is running fast and standing strong moving on the path of development and progress. Likewise adding up to the progress in the long run, the Indian Army is also contributing their share in all ways possible.



The India army steered a skill development course on ‘Vehicle Mechanic’ and also Plumbing and fitting for the youth of Rajouri district. This was conducted from 11 December to 9th January wherein 40 youths were trained. In order to make the youth of remote and backward areas vulnerable to the current scenario and generate employment the Indian Army conducted this course. The courses were conducted in Jammu initiating collaboration with Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)

The course was endeavored to bring the youth and make them accustomed to the national mainstream by their training and gaining employment with stability. These are certified course which aims to provide basic vehicle maintenance and repairs, plumbing and sanitary fittings. They would be given certificates on completion of this course.

Appreciating their efforts, the civic service and civic administrators said it is very thoughtful of the army to address issues relating to unemployment. These initiatives will usher the environment bringing stability and peace in the state. 

On similar hands a training course for girls in Ramban district in Khari was also initiated to encourage girls to have basic skills of hygiene and health issues and take up nursing as a profession. This course was started from 11 October to 9th January. This initiative by the Indian army was appreciated by their parents and all people around to create an opportunity for girls to empower them.

 

This clearly shows the dedication and sheer determination of the Indian army to have a future which makes the country proud. Training and inspiring the youth to contribute to the society and country is a commendable step taken towards development.
