Besides providing safe haven to terrorist groups, Pakistani security forces and as well as government are well known for violating human rights against their own citizens. Earlier, social activists, local politicians and leaders of PoK and restive provinces including Balochistan and Sindh fighting against the rogue regime of Islamabad have blamed forces for abducting and killing peoples who are against them. But now Pakistani forces are abducting journalists too, Shocking! Isn’ it. Yes, that’s true.

Notably, a Pakistan-based journalist named Taha Siddiqui who is the Pakistan Bureau chief of an Indian news channel was today fortunate enough to narrowly escape from the possession of armed forces after they tried to abduct him when he was travelling to the airport.

Looking for support in any way possible #StopEnforcedDisappearances"

On the other side, another journalist named Asad Hashim joined Taha Siddiqui said on twitter that he was beaten black and blue by the men and his belongings were taken away. He wrote on Twitter, "With @TahaSSiddiqui right now. It is a miracle that he escaped. He was beaten, threatened with death and his belongings taken. This is unacceptable. Journalism is not a crime."
