Karnataka polls: BJP to strike gold with 150 seats: B S Yeddyurappa

Chitradurga, January 11: Karnataka BJP president and former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa opined that BJP would strike the gold in forthcoming Karnataka assembly polls. Speaking to the media persons on the backdrop of Parivarthana Yatra, BSY stated that the principal opposition party will dethrone the Siddarmaiah led Congress government by winning 150 assembly segments in 224member Karnataka assembly.

Responding to the media talks referring to new alliance partners, the Shimoga MP clarified that his party would not forge any pre-poll allice with any regional outfit. The senior BJP leader also slammed Chief Minister Siddarmaiah for the declining law and order situation in the state. when asked about the recent Twitter war between Siddaramaiah and UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Yeddyurappa suggested that Siddaramaiah should look after his own territory before making comments on BJP led Uttar Pradesh government.

Voicing concern over the recent atrocities against women and weaker section of the society, BSY held state administration responsible for ignoring vital issues. He alleged that Siddarmaiah led Congress government has failed miserably on various fronts so people of Karnataka will ensure the ouster of the incumbent government.

Expressing displeasure over the Mahadaayi fiasco, the BJP’s Chief Ministerial nominee accused Congress leader of spoiling talks with neighboring state Goa. He pointed that ruling party was more interested in political benefits than the fruitful resolution of the Mahadaayi water sharing row.
