Actor Murali Gopy backs Parvathy, slams detractor for online abuse

Kochi, January 11: Even after taking legal action against the alleged online abuses, actress Parvathy is still facing the wrath for voicing her concern about the disgraceful portrayal of women in Malayalam films. Reacting to the ongoing hate campaign against actress Parvathy, veteran actor, and screenplay writer Murali Gopy said that people are losing moral grounds by using online abuse to register their disagreements.
Gopy took to Facebook and backed Parvathy for standing tall against the organized hate campaign. Questioning the intent of alleged fans, the actor underlined that targeting anybody’s film does not make any sense. He opined that people should shade the habit of going overboard even on small issues.

The award-winning actress was roasted by the alleged fans for criticizing the Mammootty's 2016 movie Kasaba. Recently, Parvathy was mired in another controversy where a melodious song from her and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer My Story movie got record number of dislikes( 146K)
