Beware of cyber crime! Awareness session through workshops organised by Kanpur police

Kanpur, January 12: With the onset of growing technology and online advancements, off lately a rise in cybercrime has been witnessed. In order to curb cybercrime, a program has been conducted for the Kanpur Police to tackle and detect the problem to create awareness.

 

The Kanpur Police organized a two day workshop for the police officials and the people to highlight the issues of growing cybercrime and the methods to tackle these issues. The inaugural function of this workshop was conducted by A.D.G. of Kanpur zone, Mr. Avinash Gupta as the Chief Guest. The workshop is been conducted by Rakshit Tandon and Sachin Gupta who are basically cyber experts and will inform the audience about the measures. The two day workshop commences from 12th and 13th January.

 

Cybercrime is prevailing a lot in our country as a whole. Issues like hacking social networking sites, hacking accounts and also hacking WhatsApp are growing with time. The workshop provides detailed information about how the crime takes place and what are the reasons and possibilities of them growing.

 

Taking crime based cases for reference the experts provided certain measures to stop cyber-crime. The cyber experts have provided certain points which the people should take into consideration. Blocking unknown numbers, not accepting FaceBook request by unknown people are some of the things people should keep focus on.
