Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu meets Prime Minister Modi

New Delhi, January 12: After a long gap of one year, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in national Capital. Informing about the development, the Chief Minister took to Twitter and informed about the same. Marking the occasion of Sankranti, Babu presented the book ‘The Sunrise state’ to  PM Modi.

During this meeting, Babu briefed Modi about the ongoing development projects in Andhra Pradesh. According to state officials, the TDP Supremo has urged Prime Minister Modi to clear the important proposals including special status to the coastal state, and other financial and non-financial issues pertaining to the welfare of the state.

Besides regular administrative issues, Modi also took the stock of political developments where the coastal state will go to poll in 2019 along with general elections. According to media reports, the speculations were at rife about the alleged tension between two parties on the issue of national project Polavaram.

Earlier, Parakala Prabhakar, Communication Advisor to Chandrababu Naidu rejected all the media reports referring to the relations between the BJP and TDP. Speaking to the media, Prabhakar expressed that all the problems would be resolved after the proposed meeting with PM Modi.
