The wait is over, now it's time for solar power cars!

Washington, January 15: The time has arrived! Just like we came across many things that has got solar power energy like the railway stations, airports now it’s time that company’s come out with vehicles that work on solar power. Solar powered cars were like a dream but this innovation by Lightyear One has made dream come true. The roads are set to test the wheels running on full speed from 2019.

 

A dream innovation for numerous people, a car that can use solar power had become an impossible feat for a thought. For years this project of a solar car has loomed and thought as a project with future possibilities. Designed by the Dutch startup Lightyear, the car has the ability to charge itself and can supposedly drive for months without charging. In addition to this it has a 400 – 800 km range.

 

The company has set to launch their first 10 cars to be released by the year 2019. Until now the fully solar powered car were considered as something which is unrealistic. For these cars Solar Assisted Electric Vehicles were considered as a best option for solar cars. The company launching this solar power car has toppled that the car will not only be fully powered by sun but will also overcome some of the conventional challenges associate with its technology.

So the future awaits us as the invention of solar cars has seen the light of the day. The level of progress seen in the field of technology has increased and the countries are trying their level best to launch technology which is user friendly and feasible.
