With traditional ceremonial welcome, Israel PM Netanyahu along with his wife visits Taj Mahal

Lucknow, January 16: After some delegations level talks, business summit Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu along with his wife Sara visited the Taj Mahal. Warmly welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi, an Israeli couple was accorded with a traditional welcome by Braj folk artists. 

Amidst high security, the Israeli Prime Minister and his wife along with UP CM Adityanath Yogi and the delegation accompanying them drove to the Amar Vilas hotel in the Taj city.Tight security arrangements have been made for the VVIP visit and the Taj to ensure the security of Israeli counterpart.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving them a magical moment at Taj Mahal.  
 

Guides of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) abound to take the Israeli couple around the Taj Mahal and apprise them about the architecture and the love story of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Following this, the Israeli Prime Minister will inaugurate the 3rd edition of Raisina Dialogue at Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. The event will be attended by Prime Minister Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
