Special team of CBI undertakes four chit fund cases of Bengal including Saradha, Rose Valley scam

Kolkata, January 17: In this decade, West Bengal has witnessed various cheat fund disasters which made many people totally bankrupt. Though the investigations are ongoing, but still now the progress is not fast. To bring justice for thousands of poor people, special team of Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) has undertaken four chit fund cases including Sarada and Rose Valley.

As per local media report, a special crime team of CBI consisting six members arrived in Salt lake’s CGO complex. Kolkata and Delhi BI teams will work together. The team will investigate cases of 32000 crores forgery case. Police Officers associated with the primary phase of investigation will also be questioned.

Many prominent leaders of ruling party Trinamool Congress were involved in the Sarada Scam, Rose Valley scam. Enforcement directorate, CBI both questioned TMC leaders including Kolkata Mayor, Bengal cabinet Ministers.

One of ex- TMC leader, many officers questioned and demanded to bring transparency in the investigation. Bidhan Nagar North Police station did not submit many reports asked by CBI several times. Final Charge sheet of Sarada scam will be submitted soon. Before that, this move will help to maintain transparency and co-operation of Delhi and Kolkata.
